Marketplace Design Center To Host Foundation For Breast And Prostate Health’s Design For A Cause

September 2, 2008 (Philadelphia, PA) - The acclaimed charity event Design for a Cause (formerly "Evening of Elegance") returns to the Marketplace Design Center (2400 Market Street, Philadelphia) on Thursday, November 13th from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Design for a Cause is a collaboration of Philadelphia's top talents in interior and floral design and fine cuisine as they work together to create beautiful and unique environments. This inspiring night of design will benefit the Foundation for Breast and Prostate Health.

The esteemed Marketplace Design Center features the showrooms of Baker, Knapp & Tubbs, Beacon Hill, Century Design, Grange, Noble Décor and Marc Phillips Decorative Rugs. Design for a Cause will exhibit the works of award-winning floral and interior designers and decorators, as well as sumptuous cuisine by the area's finest caterers, pastry chefs and restaurants. Guests can expect to see coordinated themes in food and beverage, flowers, lighting, furniture, fabrics and accessories for each spectacular setting.

Following the event on Thursday evening, the Marketplace Design Center and the Foundation for Breast and Prostate Health will host public tours of the Design for a Cause showroom spaces on Friday, November 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
